“This stunning new time-lapse video reveals the making of a three-story mural, painted in tribute to scientists’ quest to find the Higgs Boson. The wildly colorful mural, completed in 2010, is the artist’s fanciful depiction of what the hypothetical particle might look like.”

Hoy siento en el corazón
un vago temblor de estrellas,
pero mi senda se pierde
en el alma de la niebla.

y el dolor de mi tristeza
va mojando los recuerdos
en la fuente de la idea..

I’ve watched documentaries on Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring over the last few days and I’m feeling inspired.
There is something so sad and powerful about these artists who died so young.
In watching the footage of both artists working, they were never afraid. Made each stroke with confidence and a larger plan. Makes sketching seem so cautious.
I have often found myself acting before thoroughly planning, and I’ve never quite seen it as any benefit to my work. Maybe I just lack the confidence to roll with the it…

Just watched the documentary on Jean-Michel Basquiat… what an amazing artist.
This quote, by Langston Hughes, was used in the film to describe Basquiat.
